Firangi Trailer: Kapil Sharma looks promising and can do anything for his love and village
Firangi is Kapil Sharma's second Bollywood movie.
Actor/Comedian Kapil Sharma starrer Firangi trailer is finally out today and it looks enticing. Set in Punjab, Sharma's character is that of a young man named Magga. Kapil looks promising portraying a Punjabi munda with the perfect accent and emotions.
This is Kapil's second Bollywood film after his hit Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karu.
Magga is a lover as well as dedicated towards his work. Sharma plays the role of a British servant in the movie. The movie is a mixed bag of happy, sad, and funny moments.
From the trailer, we get to witness how circumstances in Magga's life and him being a British servant hit his life hard and affects his equation with the villagers as well as his lover played by Ishita Dutta.
From working for the firangis to fighting against them to free his village, the movie is about Magga's journey, transformation, and fight.
During the trailer launch, Kapil Sharma said, "I wanted to launch the trailer in the presence of #SunilGrover but he is in Canada for a show".
He also cleared the rumours of Jab Harry Met Sejal cast leaving his show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' in anger. He stated, "Shah Rukh sir came to meet me after I cancelled the shoot since I was unwell and he asked me to take a break since I was not well."
Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, Firangi also stars Monica Gill, Edward Sonnenblick, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq, Aanjjan Srivastav, Jameel Khan and Vishal O Sharma in vital roles. The movie is set to hit the theatre screens on November 24.
