Fanney Khan Trailer: Anil as the ideal dad and Aishwarya-Rajkummar's undeniable chemistry steal the show
Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan's trailer is out. The film is directed by Atul Manjrekar and is slated to release on August 3, 2018.
The trailer for Fanney Khan is finally out. The film stars Anil Kapoor in the titular role with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles.
The trailer starts with Anil as Fanney Khan winning hearts in the 80s, then it pans to 2018, where he is a middle-class man, who drives taxi and lives with his wife Divya Dutta and a teenage daughter. Their daughter is also talented like her father but she is fat shamed constantly whenever performed onstage.
To fulfil her daughter's dream, Anil decides to team up with Rajkummar and kidnap Aishwarya, who plays the role of Baby Singh, India’s biggest pop star.
How the whole kidnapping turns out makes the rest of the plot of the film along with the father-daughter relationship. Moreover, the trailer also shows a cute glimpse of Aishwarya and Rajkummar's blooming romance and their chemistry is undeniable.

Fanney Khan is directed by debutant Atul Manjrekar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Anil Kapoor, P.S. Bharathi, Rajiv Tandon, Krishan Kumar, Kussum Arora and Nishant Pitti. The film is slated to release on August 3, 2018.
