One of the much awaited debutantes of 2018 is Sara Ali Khan. Her debut film, Kedarnath released on December 7 and made over Rs 7 Crores on the opening day itself. It is quite a huge achievement for a film starring a debutante. On the other hand, she will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh which will also release in the month of December. Within a month itself, Sara Ali Khan will have two huge releases which is a great boost for a newcomer.
However, she is still trying to come to terms with the success of her first film Kedarnath and is overwhelmed by the love she has received from the audience. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Sara Ali Khan shared her feelings on tasting success with her debut film and also expressed her gratitude on the same. She can be seen talking about living the dream she always had of being a big movie star and how blessed she feels for getting a positive response from the audience in her first film. Being the candid person that she is, she even opened up about stalking Pinkvilla in the introduction.

She also mentioned that she can’t take the whole credit for Kedarnath’s success and that it was more of a team effort by Abhishek Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput. However, she certainly seemed happy about the amazing reviews which she got from the audience. She also looked hopeful that the love continues for her next release as well. Sara’s upcoming film is Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, which is the remake of a Telugu film, Temper. Simmba is slated to release on December 28, 2018.
