Karan Johar welcomed twins on February 7, 2017, via surrogacy and named them Yash Johar and Roohi Johar. It's been a year since Karan became a father and in an EXCLUSIVE interview with Pinkvilla, he spoke at length about the same.
Karan Johar is all set for his next acting project. Titled Welcome To New York, the movie gives a glimpse into the world of Bollywood shot against the backdrop of THE IIFA Awards 2017 held in New York.
Recently, we caught up with Karan for a quick video chat, where the talented filmmaker spoke at length about his double role in Welcome To New York, fatherhood, his philosophical tweets, his two-decade journey in Bollywood and more.
On being quizzed if being a father to Yash Johar and Roohi Johar for over a year has changed Karan, he stated to us, "Well, it hasn't changed me, it just made me happier. If that's a change, then that's a welcome change. I m just happier and much more satisfied with my existence."
KJo added, "It's given me a big reason to live with a certain amount of energy and vigour for the next three decades of my life. I can't wait to see my children grow up around me, with me and for me."

Karan welcomed his twins Yash and Roohi on February 7, 2017, via surrogacy. He took to his Twitter page last year and wrote, "I am ecstatic to share with you all the two most wonderful additions to my life, my children and lifelines; Roohi and Yash. I feel enormously blessed to be a parent to these pieces of my heart who were welcomed into this world with the help of the marvels of medical science."
He also added, "I am eternally grateful to the surrogate who has fulfilled my lifelong dream and provided a warm, loving, and nurturing environment to my children before bringing them into this world. She will always remain in my prayers."
