Diandra questions Amitabh Bachchan’s silence & Karan Johar’s girl power card; Rachel slams Jackie Shroff

The Me Too movement has taken the entire entertainment and other industries for that matter, by a complete storm. There have been so many me too stories, accusations and alleged charges of sexual harassment levelled against the people from the industry. And, among the so many, happen to be two strong ladies, Diandra Soares and Rachel White. Diandra accused Suhel Seth of sexually harassing her after a party. However, she only received backlash for the same. Rachel White, along with two other women accused Sajid Khan of sexually harassing them, post which Sajid, ultimately stepped down from his upcoming project, Housefull 4. The two ladies, in an interview with a leading portal, went on to question how Amitabh Bachchan is silent, Karan Johar is waving the girl power flag and Jackie Shroff's statement from an interview.

Diandra Soares raised a question and went on to question Amitabh Bachchan’s silent. In fact, she also slammed him for giving a statement that wasn’t a concrete statement after all. She further questioned why has there not been questioning at the top levels. Among the so many questions she raised, she quipped, “Someone like Amitabh Bachchan who has done a film like Pink, powerhouse performance, No means no, and they went all over the town promoting that like it is the in thing to do, I want to know and I want to ask him, and I’ll do it point blank. I know him, and I have met him, I know his daughter in law very well, his kids are brought up very well, he has a granddaughter, he has a lot of women in the family, and I want to know why the silence and your statement? Really? That’s the statement you gave out.”

Talking about Sajid Khan, she stated, “We are talking about casting directors, we are talking about Sajid Khan who is just an obnoxious, just a small fry who has got Housefull 4 and all the Housefulls because that is his sense of humour and his level of humour, and no other fuck***g work, sorry for the language. You are going to all these small people, let’s go to the top most, let’s talk about Karan Johar. Okay, Koffee With Karan is the show everyone loves, and they are so obsessed with, Bigg Boss for that matter, I’m just saying all these retarded shows, okay, lovely.”

She further questioned Karan Johar, and his girl power card from the first episode of Koffee With Karan 6. She questioned, “You opened your show saying girl power and I have got two actresses to open the show, should we give you an award for that? Do you want a little crown or a sachet? Because it is not such a big deal, you said the words girl power, do you even understand the meaning of the word girl power and use this and yet you call one which is from nepotism and the other one from outside the industry. Lovely, justify yourself. You have babies right?

Rachel White, post Jackie Shroff’s statement about calling what happened an unfortunate event and something he doesn’t want to fan, lashed out at him. She went on to say how his statement only meant that people need to sleep around to get a movie, talking about her own experience, she said, “I don’t think Sajid Khan wanted to work with me or intended to work with any of the women he has called to his house. I told him that I am mentally not prepared for this and I went back and told that this is what happened and I am freaked out but I didn’t think I intended to work with him either. So, it is not about getting a film, I myself had walked out. If I had wanted to do the film, I would have laid down there and not walked out.”

Talking about Jackie’s statement, Diandra further stated, “I have lost all this respect for this man; he had blinders on throughout his interview and proved me right. Not only that, he goes on to say how people are washing their dirty laundry in public. Dude, I want to ask about your wife, where is her dirty laundry being washed? Wasn’t that public? You are telling look into your own house.”
