Dhadak: Check out Rekha's reaction to Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor's film

Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor's Dhadak is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is an adaptation of Marathi film Sairat (2016) which was directed by Nagraj Manjule.

Yesterday, the screening for Dhadak was held in the city and it was attended by celebrities like Rekha, Sara Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and others.

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter along with Khushi Kapoor were also snapped at the screening of their film.

Post the film, the paparazzi asked Rekha about her views on the film. The veteran actor, who was heading home inside her car expressed that she liked her film. By making a gesture with her hand, Rekha called Dhadak a nice film.

Earlier, Sonam Kapoor took to her Twitter page to share her views on the film. She tweeted, "What a stunning debut @janhvikapoor so so proud! Moved beyond words. @ishaankhattar you are magnificent. And this is all thanks to @ShashankKhaitan who has brilliantly captured their innocence, vulnerability and strength! Stunned!!!!!!"

In an interview with PTI earlier, about her film, Janhvi Kapoor said that it is not a typical Bollywood saga with a happy ending. The film shows the harsh reality and ugly truth of the society we live in. She said that such practices should be condemned and that's what they are trying to do with their film. 

Dhadak is Ishaan Khatter's second film after Beyond The Clouds that was released in March this year.
