Dekhte Dekhte Song: Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are heartbroken in this song from Batti Gul Meter Chalu

The second song from Batti Gul Meter Chalu is out. The first song from the film titled Gold Tamba picturised on the leads Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor was unveiled last week. This song is a dance number and their hook steps became a super hit. The song was sung by Nakash Aziz while the music was composed by Anu Malik. The lyrics for Gold Tamba was penny by Siddharth-Garima. Now, the new song from Batti Gul Meter Chalu is titled Dekhte Dekhte and it's a heartbreak track.

In the music video, it is shown that Shraddha has distanced herself from Shahid after a tragic incident takes place in their lives. Looks like the song is shot after the death sequence of Divyendu Sharma. In the whole song, Shahid reminiscing the time they spent together and Shraddha looks sad as she can't cope up with the uninvited sadness which came in their lives. Talking about Dekhte Dekhte, the song is a rendition from a popular song crooned by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The new track is sung by Atif Aslam and the music is recreated by Rochak Kohli.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti. The film also stars Yami Gautam in a pivotal role.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu is slated to release on September 21, 2018.
