Deepika Padukone will be immortalized at the Madame Tussauds museum in London. The actor announced the happy news with her fans recently. Deepika was in London for the measurements of the statue. The statue will be unveiled in January next year. Deepika will have a similar statue in Madame Tussauds Delhi. Deepika had shared on FB Live that it is an amazing feeling to have her own wax statue at the museum. She had said that she hopes that her fans love it as much as she has enjoyed the process of creating the wax figure.

Deepika is the cover star of Elle magazine this month. She spoke to Farah Khan for the interview with the magazine. Deepika talks about her sabbatical, love life and the race to be on the top in Bollywood in the interview. In a BTS video shared by Elle Magazine on their Instagram page, Farah Khan asks Deepika Padukone about her Madame Tussauds statue and an excited Deepika talks about it. She says, “For me that moment of just meeting the entire team, all those memories were just coming back of when I went to London for the first time.”

Deepika Padukone’s last release was Padmaavat in January this year. The actor has reportedly signed a female superhero film that will go on floors in January. The actor has not made an official announcement about her next projects.
