Deepika Padukone slays like a boss at the gym; does the Ferris Wheel on the Trapeze
Deepika Padukone is a fitness freak and is a regular at the gym for her workouts. We got our hands on a video of the actor doing the Ferris Wheel on the Trapeze to perfection.
Fitness amongst Bollywood actors is the current rage right now as our favourite celebrities go all out to stay in shape whether it be at the gym, performing yoga or pilates.
Deepika Padukone is a part of this club and never misses out on a good old-fashioned workout and thanks to her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala, we get small glimpses of the actor's exercise regime.
We got our hands on a video shared by Yasmin on Instagram today of Deepika sporting an all-black gear and doing the Ferris Wheel on the Trapeze to perfection.
Yasmin's caption reads as, "Who says #Motivation only happens on #Monday!!!!!! @deepikapadukone can motivate you any day raising the bar to her own #fitnessgoals constantly. Watch her do the #FerrisWheel on the #Trapeze effortlessly. #befitbecauseyoudeserveit."
Earlier, about her fitness regimen, Deepika had said in an interview, “I do regular exercise, yoga, eat healthy and positive thinking is what makes me look good. I do a lot of free-hand weights and 4 to 5 sets of stretching exercises with 20 reps, in between pilates or stretching routines.”
In another interview, the actor had said, “I was always slim but I knew my body had the potential to really look defined. I wasn't fat or out of shape, but I wanted to look a lot better. Pilates and Strength training did wonders for my tone and definition. I may have lost maybe a kilo or two at the most in all this time, but have lost inches all around and it shows. I try and exercise as often as I can, but when I'm travelling or shooting, I tend to skip it for days on end."
On the work front, after smashing it with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat which also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, Deepika will start shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's next opposite Irrfan Khan from March 5, 2018, in Nepal.
