Deepika Padukone ANSWERS to those who think she wasted a lot of money on her wedding with Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot on December 14 and 15 in a dream wedding at Lake Como in Italy. The two look simply perfect together. After dating each other for six long years, the two finally took their relationship to the next level. It was in 2013 when Deepika and Ranveer starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and fell in love with each other on the sets while filming it. Ranveer and Deepika have been with each other through thick and thin. 

And now, one of the Bollywood's most adored couple is finally married. The wedding was a lavish affair and fireworks and decor in Italy were to die for. The couple even hosted three receptions - one in Bengaluru and another in Mumbai for the media and their industry friends. Deepika recently gave her first interview post marriage to Filmfare, and well, she was asked to comment on a troll that said, 'Sab Paise shaadi pe waste kardia'. On this, Deepika had a perfect comeback - "I have a lot of money, don't worry!"

At an event in Mumbai yesterday, Deepika spoke about the celebrations that followed their grand wedding. "Marriage itself is a beautiful celebration. So, while the literal celebrations are done from our end, I think December is a very festive time and of course, as newlyweds, the celebrations will continue for a while," said Deepika. 

Paparazzi has been addressing DP as 'Bhabhiji' post her wedding to Ranveer Singh. When Ranveer and Deepika had arrived at the airport to leave for Bengaluru for the wedding reception hosted by Padukone family, paparazzi referred to Deepika Padukone as 'Bhabhiji'. Deepika burst into laughter then and Ranveer too had an adorable reaction.
