The much-awaited trailer of Deadpool 2 starring Ryan Reynolds in titular role is finally here and it’s totally worth the wait. The trailer begins with Deadpool (Ryan) running for his life and asking his dependable cabbie, Dopinder, to hit the paddle.

It is then followed by some fast-cut action sequences until we meet Deadpool’s girlfriend Vanessa (played by Morena Baccarin). Josh Brolin’s Cable is also introduced and he’s here to wreak havoc in Wade’s life.

Deadpool asks the team to call themselves X-Force and we’ve known for quite a while that a film with this name has been under the works. He also refers to his real-life wife, Blake Lively’s popular film, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in the trailer and it is hilarious.

Also, there is a kid that needs saving from the villains and there is Terry Crews playing an important role in the film.

The first part of the franchise released in 2016 and became the biggest R-rated grosser ever and with the trailer of Deadpool 2, it looks like this one will be even better.

The film also stars Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand and Jack Kesy among others.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 releases on May 18.

Ryan recently featured in Time magazine's 100 most influential people of 2017's list. Actor Helen Mirren wrote an excerpt for him. She had said, "When we were shooting the movie we did together, Woman in Gold, Ryan was about to start his now legendary journey toward becoming Deadpool. That movie's incredible success was so deserved, and it was brought about by Ryan's singular commitment, energy and imagination. I loved Deadpool. But I also miss spending time with the actor who played him—his warm, intelligent, inquisitive brown eyes, his readiness to laugh ... sigh."
