After making heads turn on the red carpet, the diva went for the after-party. Kangana dazzled in a shiny turquoise and purple Halpern dress. She tied her hair in a ponytail and sported nude make-up.

From her retro look in Sabhyasachi saree to Zuhair Murad sheer gown, Kangana made sure all eyes were on her every time she stepped out.
Kangana Ranaut also attended an event at the Indian Pavillion. She talked about women in cinema and world cinema.
Earlier, in an interview with Times of India, Kangana had said that the film festival is not merely a fashion event for her. “The essence has become expression oriented — the focus is indeed on what you wear and speak and how you conduct yourself at events and discussions. I will put my best foot forward for the festival. We have an international stylist on board and apart from international looks; I will also wear something Indian at the red carpet since I am representing my country. However, focussing only on fashion at Cannes reduces its scope dramatically. It’s the same with artistes, when they are reduced to a glossy image and not seen as people with their own kind of potential. Cannes is a lot more than a mere red-carpet event,” Kangana had said.
