Bhaiaji Superhit Teaser: Sunny Deol & Preity Zinta starrer touted as a desi entertainer may be an epic FAIL?
Directed by Neerraj Pathak, Bhaiaji Superhit stars Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Ameesha Patel. The teaser was just released and looks like it might be a desi entertainer that is in for failure already. Watch the teaser below.
Bollywood masala entertainers are ones that seem to connect very well with the common people of our country. Thus, most filmmakers like to follow the same success formula for every kind of star cast. However, this formula might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Recently, a teaser to the much-delayed film, Bhaiaji Superhit dropped on YouTube that features Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the lead roles along with Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Ameesha Patel as the supporting cast.
Watching the teaser, we feel that the director Neerraj Pathak is trying to hard to impress the audience by setting the movie in a place like Benaras and making the actors of the film act completely desi. From their looks to accents to dialogues, everything is just an overbearing dosage of vernacular feels that just doesn’t go really well with the image of the actors. Sunny Deol, known as the Punjab da Puttar, being portrayed as a funny Don, who is scared of his wife is the last thing anyone would like to see.

Whereas Preity Zinta, who makes a comeback with this film, plays the role of his badass wife and fails to impress with her desiness. Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade playing the Bollywood directors who want to cast Bhaiaji a.k.a in their film do add some humour in the film. But, from the start, the teaser reveals that the action-comedy flick is another entertainer that stars actors who don’t look like their part and thus, try too hard to be something they are not. Ameesha Patel, again, seems to have a little role to play in the film. The movie is slated to release on October 19, 2018. All in all, it seems from the teaser that Bhaiaji Superhit might not be such a hit after all!
