Alia Bhatt shared her excitement about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' wedding at Lux Golden Rose Awards. She said that she can't wait to see Priyanka as a bride.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will get hitched in two weeks at a luxurious Jodhpur hotel. The couple will have two wedding ceremonies to honour each other’s faith. Priyanka Chopra’s mother visited Jodhpur a few days ago to check the preparations for the wedding. The couple started dating in May this year and he popped the question on her birthday in July. Priyanka and Nick confirmed their engagement after their roka ceremony in August. Nick’s parents had also flown to India for the roka ceremony.
As per reports, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding will be a private affair and they will wed in the presence of family members and closest friends. The couple has not invited any stars from the industry, but will be hosting a reception to celebrate with them after their wedding. Alia Bhatt, who is close to Priyanka Chopra was asked about her wedding at the Lux Golden Rose Awards. Alia was amongst the few stars invited to her engagement bash in Mumbai.
About Priyanka’s wedding, Alia said, “I am very happy and excited. I am very excited to see PC in her wedding attire. I am very fond of her and I have a lot of love and warmth for her. I wish she has a beautiful wedding and I am sure she will make for a beautiful bride and she should have a beautiful life.”
Alia Bhatt also met Priyanka Chopra at her residence when she was in New York last month to visit boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and his family.
