In an unfortunate set of circumstances, Bollywood lost the First Lady of the Kapoor Khandaan - Krishna Raj Kapoor. She bid a final farewell yesterday after she suffered a cardiac arrest. She was 87 when she breathed her last. Her eldest son and veteran actor Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news to PTI, "My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest...old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise." Going by Krishna Raj Kapoor's old pictures, we can see that she was extremely close to Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and grandson Ranbir Kapoor.
But, sadly, Rishi, Neetu and Ranbir were not the part of her last rites. Rishi is unwell and they have gone to the US for his treatment. Rishi Kapoor had tweeted about it and had urged all his fans not to speculate as he is going for his health related issues and will be back soon. Well, yesterday, when Ranbir's girlfriend Alia Bhatt visited the Kapoor mansion, she wanted RK to be a part of the last rites. A video of her trying to FaceTime Ranbir has gone viral but seems like she was unable to connect because of network issues. Alia also took care of Riddhima in Ranbir's absence. That's surely a sweet gesture!

While Soha Ali Khan remembered her as an "incredible personality full of life and passion and with never a hair out place", Farah Khan called her "the most beautiful lady of our industry".
