Alia Bhatt reveals the REAL reason why she looked SAD in leaked photos with Ranbir Kapoor from Brahmastra sets
Alia Bhatt revealed that she wasn't upset in the leaked photos from the sets of Brahmastra in which she is sitting next to boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, who seems busy on his phone.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating for almost a year now and are in a steady relationship. The couple’s families also approve of their relationship and they have bonded with each other’s parents. Ranbir and Alia are working together for the first time in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. The supernatural romantic thriller is the first part of a trilogy that is being planned by the director and Karan Johar. The team wrapped up two major schedules in Bulgaria earlier this year.
During the last few weeks, the team had been shooting in Mumbai. The couple shot for high-octane action sequences for the film during this schedule. They were papped many a time during the shoot on set. In one set of photos from the sets of the film, Alia looked upset as boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor was busy on his phone. It led to speculations about all not being well between the couple. At Kids’ Choice Awards today, Alia was asked about those leaked photos and she revealed the real reason she looked sad.
Alia said, “No! That’s my face, when I rest. It’s my resting face. I wasn’t upset at all. I am very happy and I’m a very happy person but that’s my resting face. Some people call me ‘Naani’ because of that- I am always frowning. But, I wasn’t upset at all.”
Well, Alia clarified that all is well between her and Ranbir Kapoor and that she was not upset in the photos. In fact, she was resting between shots.
