Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta to get engaged on THIS day, check out their Save the Date VIDEO

Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani proposed to girlfriend Shloka Mehta in Goa earlier this year, in the presence of their families. The Ambani family hosted a pre-engagement bash at their luxurious residence Antilla. Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar and Aamir Khan had arrived to congratulate the couple.

The couple will now get formally engaged in a traditional ceremony on June 30, 2018. The Ambani and Mehta families have sent Save the Date video to the invitees.

The ‘Save the Date’ video has ‘Shubhaarambh’ from Kai Po Che as the background music and is being sent by parents of Akash and Shloka, Nita and Mukesh Ambani and Mona & Russell Mehta.

The engagement ceremony will take place at the Ambani residence in the city. After the pre-engagement ritual in Goa, the family accompanied by Shloka Mehta had offered prayers at the Siddivinayak temple. Shloka had also arrived with would-be in-laws Mukesh and Nita Ambani at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception.

Wedding bells are all set to ring in the Ambani household in December this year. Akash and Shloka will tie the knot in a four-five day ceremony at a plush hotel in Mumbai.

Incidentally, Akash’s twin sister, Isha Ambani also got engaged to boyfriend Anand Piramal last month. Their wedding will also take place in December.

Shloka Mehta is the youngest daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta. Her family owns Rosy Blue Diamonds. Akash and Shloka went to the same school, Dhirubhai Ambani International School and have known each other for years.
