Speaking of this, The Accidental Prime Minister has surely made an impact with its trailer which was released last week. Starring Anupam Kher as former PM Manmohan Singh and Akshaye Khanna, the movie has been making headlines since it hit the floors.
Despite the controversies and opposition from the Congress party leaders, the makers will release the film next week. Today, Anupam took to Twitter to share a glimpse of his acting prowess in a scene from the film. In the video, we can see Anupam Kher as Dr Manmohan Singh paying his last respects to Ex-Prime Minister, Narasimha Rao. Narasimha Rao’s death was a big blow to Manmohan Singh. In the video, we can see Kher nailing Manmohan Singh’s role with perfection. He wrote, “Ex-Prime Minister Narasimha Rao Ji’s death was one of the saddest days for #DrManmohanSingh. Isn’t the similarity too evident? The Accidental Prime Minister is based on the 2014 book written by Sanjaya Baru. Like the book, the movie also has faced the heat from the Congress supporters and a case also has been filed in a court in Bihar against the leads and makers. Despite all this, the movie will be releasing on January 11, 2019.
