Marvel Fans were in for a shock when some footage from Avengers: Infinity War was showcased at D23 Expo and once more at Comic-Con. Die-hard fanatics were waiting with bated breath to get a glimpse at the culminating chapters of the universe that will see all the superheroes align together to fight the evilest of them all, Thanos.
Now, much to the relief of all. there is a leaked footage of the trailer on social media and the Internet has gone berserk over it.
The video starts with Guardians of the Galaxy (Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel) encountering Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in space. The scene of the confrontation between them will give you goosebumps on another level. We are then shown Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and the tesseract (which was the driving force of The Avengers). After that, we see Peter Parker aka Spider-Man (Tom Holland) with his spidey sense and to top it all off, the flagbearer of Marvel Universe, Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) is seen with the team.
Thanos is then introduced as the force to be reckoned with. Captain America (Chris Evans) is introduced with a full beard and black CA suit and we get glimpses of The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Benedict Wong (Wong), a blonde Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bucky (Sebastian Stan), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).
It's heartbreaking to see Spider-Man lying on the ground looking at Iron Man and saying "I'm sorry," as well as seeing a broken demi-god in Thor. But the highlight of the entire trailer is when Thanos literally pulls the moon to whip it at Iron Man. You can't help but be stunned to silence.
