Qaidi Band trailer: Debutants Aadar Jain and Anya Singh use music as a motif of freedom in jail

The trailer of Qaidi Band is out. The film marks the debut of YRF's latest discoveries Aadar Jain and Anya Singh. 

In the video, both are seen as the jail inmates who are under trial. They are waiting for the hearing in the hope that they get acquitted of all the charges and walk free from the jail.

Sachin Pilgaonkar is seen as the jailor and he asks the jail inmates to form a band to sing and perform on the occasion of Independence Day.

Aadar, Anya and others form a band and they instantly win hearts with their music and performances. Their video goes viral on the Internet and they wait for the day to get released from the jail.

It is quite surprising to see Aadar and Anya in de-glam avatars in the film!

Directed by Habib Faisal of Ishaqzaade and Daawat-E-Ishq fame, the film is slated to release on August 25, 2017. The film will be clashing with Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer A Gentleman.

Earlier this day, the poster of the film was unveiled and it gave us a glimpse of the whole Qaidi Band. 

A few days back,  a grand event was held to introduce the new faces of Yash Raj - Raj Kapoor's grandson and Ranbir Kapoor's cousin Aadar Jain and Anya Singh.

Ranbir who was present for the event was asked what advice would he like to give both the debutantes, to which he said, "I want to tell both the kids that the odds are the same. There are no shortcuts, no formulas, there are highs and lows and lots of sacrifices. You’ve to give a lot to be accepted and be honest to your craft. It’s about how you play the game.”
