Watch: When Alia Bhatt was caught in the midst of a tiff between her bodyguard and NY security

Alia Bhatt is having the time of her life in New York City, where she will ring the IIFA 2017 Awards ceremony this weekend. However, it was not all smooth sailing for Alia on landing in the favorite vacation spot of Bollywood stars. On landing, Alia and Varun Dhawan were surrounded by bodyguards and several others.
However, Alia's bodyguard himself accidentally nudged the pretty actress. On seeing this, a NYC security guard tried to question him and stop him. A tiff broke out and Alia is seen trying to calm the guards saying, "It is okay."
Also seen is Varun Dhawan, who is quite harrowed by the whole experience himself. Well, what do you think of that?
Both Alia and Varun are nominated for awards, for their performances in movies Udta Punjab and Dishoom. They will also be performing on the stage, during the main awards ceremony.
Varun Dhawan will also be hosting a segment of the show along with his mentor Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan. Well, all in all, a lot of fun and frolic to look forward to. Are you excited? We sure are!
There is also the IIFA Rocks event, which will take place tonight. The event hosted by Manish Paul and Riteish Deshmukh, will honour music maestro AR Rahman.
On the work front, Alia will soon begin working on her Ayan Mukerji movie Dragon opposite Ranbir Kapoor whereas Varun Dhawan will be seen in Judwaa 2 opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
