Toilet: Ek Prem Katha - Check out Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar's off-screen chemistry in this BTS video
Akshay Kumar shared a behind-the-scenes video of his film, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
Akshay Kumar's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has been in news ever since it has been announced. The film is a satirical take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet project Swachh Bharat campaign. The movie aims to give you a social message about open defecation.
Today, Akshay shared a behind-the-scenes video which also features Bhumi Pednekar. You can witness the off-screen chemistry between the lead actors. The video starts with how Bhumi is excited to work with Akshay. You would also see Akshay poking fun at Bhumi and while talking about Bhumi, he said , 'inhone pehle ek wazandar movie ki hai'. He also jokingly asked about her weight loss.
Earlier, talking about the underlined theme of the movie, Kumar said "I got a great subject (TKPH). Over 54% of the population in the country don't have toilets at home and I thought if I make this kind of film with realism, comedy, entertainment, and good songs and present it to the people, they will understand the issue better."
The movie was earlier to collide at the box-office with Imtiaz Ali's Jab Harry Met Sejal which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. However, with JHMS's release preponed by a week, the movie will enjoy a solo release on August 11, 2017.
Coming to Akshay, he has a very busy year with back to back releases. Apart from Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, he will also be seen in PadMan, 2.0 among others.
