Anurag Kashyap has teamed up with Aanand L Rai for his upcoming film, Mukkabaaz. The teaser has finally released and well, going by that, the film is based on a boxer who hails from Uttar Pradesh who before getting to boxing will fall for a Brahmin girl. In the background, you hear the phrase - 'Zindagi Ka Paitra Khel Le'.
Eros Now tweeted out a 21-seconds teaser and wrote, "Aanand L Rai & Anurag Kashyap. Two different worlds step into the ring this November. #MukkabaazNov10 @aanandlrai @anuragkashyap72." The director confirmed the news and wrote, "and we are coming out on .." The film is slated to release on November 10, 2017. It will be interesting to see geniuses putting their thinking caps and coming up with their ideologies in one film.
Last year, reports came that the director is shooting for the film in different parts of Banaras. It's been no secret that Martin Scorsese is the biggest inspiration for Anurag Kashyap and is highly influenced by his work.
In 2016, the pictures of Anurag Basu shooting for the picture with Vineet Kumar went viral. The two have already worked on Gangs of Wasseypur, Bombay Talkies and Ugly before. Anurag Basu's last outings Udta Punjab and Raman Raghav 2.0 were appreciated by the viewers.
Currently, Aanand L Rai is working on his upcoming film with Shah Rukh Khan and recently shot for a song which also features Salman Khan. He has given brilliant films like Tanu Weds Manu: Returns and Raanjhanaa.
