The teaser of Shraddha Kapoor's much-awaited biopic Haseena Parkar is out. The one-minute video gives us a glimpse of how Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena's life was.
In the teaser, Shraddha is seen in bits and pieces and her transformation will definitely leave everyone surprised. A background voice is heard, "Atthasi cases darj par court mein, hajri sirf ek baar," and then Shraddha is seen inside the court and walking towards the witness box. She is then seen removing her hijab, showing her face to the world.
Then Shraddha is seen sitting on a royal chair and saying, "Aapa yaad reh gaya na, naam yaad rakhne ki zaroorat nahi."

Haseena Parkar was popularly known as "Aapa" and people in Mumbai had fear imbibed in them towards her. The movie shows the journey from a young girl to a mother of four to the Godmother of Nagpada ruling across four decades in the Maximum City.
Haseena Parkar is directed by Apoorva Lakhia, produced by Nahid Khan and is slated to release on August 18, 2017. The movie also stars Siddhanth Kapoor as Dawood Ibrahim and Ankur Bhatia as Haseena's husband.

The movie was earlier set to release on July 14, 2017, along with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos. The film was then reportedly delayed to July 28, 2017, alongside Arjun Kapoor's Mubarakan.
Moreover, the film was earlier titled Haseena: Queen of Mumbai.
