Spider-Man: Homecoming: Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man is the Coolest Mentor Ever to Tom Holland's Spider-Man
Check out a new clip from Spider-Man: Homecoming featuring Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland.
When it was announced that British actor Tom Holland was replacing Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, many wondered if the 21-year-old would do justice to the superhero. But then came Captain America: Civil War and Tom stole the spotlight from everybody in the movie.
Now Tom is back as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming and joining him is Iron Man himself aka the 'Coolest Mentor Ever', Robert Downey Jr.
"I think with a little bit more mentoring, you'll be a real asset to the team," says Tony Stark in the new clip of the movie.
Robert goes on to talk about Tony looking after Peter Parker. He said, "Tony is keeping a real close eye on him and making sure that he is a worthy recruit for the Avengers. He's quite gifted and a very talented guy."
"Peter Parker is constantly learning throughout the movie and he is trying to prove himself to Tony that he is ready to be an Avenger. He is old enough to take on bigger tasks," revealed Tom.
"I saw that relationship like a big brother relationship," Tom added about Tony and Parker's relationship.
So what is Iron Man's advice for Spider-Man!? "Don't do anything, I would do. And definitely, don't do anything I wouldn't do. There's a little grey area in there and that's where you operate," Tony quips to Peter.
