Princess Diana tried to cut her wrists and is seen admitting to it in this viral video
An old video of Princess Diana has surfaced on the net and is taking the viral world by storm. It has the late princess admitting to some very tragic facts.
Diana, Princess of Wales, was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales. She passed away in an unfortunate accident in Paris on 31 August 1997, when she was 36 years old. Princess Diana was much loved by one and all, and was appreciated for her charity work.
However, Princess Diana too, went through her ups and downs in life. A recent interview of the princess that has surfaced will get you all teary eyed. It has the late princess admitting to the fact that she was depressed enough to cut her wrists and inflict harm upon helself, because she was hurting inside.
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
She said, "When no one listens to you, or you feel no one listens to you, all sorts of things begin to happen. You have so much pain inside yourself that you try and hurt yourself on the outside. You want help, but this is the wrong help you are asking for. People say it is crying wolf or attention seeking. They think because you are in the media all the time, you have got enough attention. But I was actually crying out as I wanted to get better, in order to go forward and continue my duty as wife, mother, princess of Wales. So yes I did inflict pain on myself. I did not like myself. I was ashamed I could not cope with the pressures. I just hurt my arms and my legs."
When asked if Prince Charles, her husband understood what she was going through, she said, "No, but then, there are not many people who would have taken the time to see that."
She also said, "I had Bulimia for a number of years. That is like a secret disease that you inflict upon yourself."
However, Diana also goes on to add in the video interview how she overcame her struggles and won them over.
