Shraddha Kapoor's reprised version of Phir Bhi Tumko Chahungi is out.
Though Shraddha Kapoor played a singer on-screen in Mohit Suri's Aashiqui 2, she managed to try it is real life only during Ek Villain. And since then, her fans cannot stop raving about her voice and expect Shraddha to sing in all the songs. In her last release, Rock On 2, Shraddha sang all her songs, so it was obvious to expect her to croon a song in her upcoming film Half Girlfriend.
The makers of the movie has surprised the audience and released the reprise version of their popular song Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga, that has been an instant favourite with all. Shraddha Kapoor has lent her voice to Phir Bhi Tumko Chahungi and it is heartwarming. The song is composed by Mithoon and has been penned by Manoj Muntashir.

When Shraddha was asked about singing this song by a daily, she said, "It was so overwhelming, I couldn't sing. I had to excuse myself for a few minutes before I could collect myself and resume recording."
Director Mohit Suri too spoke about Shraddha and said, "My brief to Mithoon (composer) was that the track should convey the crux of the film. While working on a previous movie, Manoj (Muntashir, the lyricist) had told me about a nazm he had written 12 years ago. I told him that I will need it for my film. The original song has been sung by Arijit Singh, Shraddha has rendered a modified version. For the climax of the film, I wanted a song that conveys the joy of uniting with someone you have always loved.Taking a cue from Lataji's Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, Manoj and I came up with a few new lines. When I approached Shraddha to record the song, she was worried if she would be able to do justice to it."
