Raabta: Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's Ik Vaari Aa speaks of separation but with a happy twist

Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's Ik Vaari Aa is a perfect fit who for all the lovebirds who are in a long distance relationship. Yesterday, there was an announcement that it's going to be a happy separation song and well, the song truly is on those lines.
The song shows how Kriti and Sushant are missing each other post spending a lot of time together. On a lighter note, the song will make you smile all the while (if you too have a similar story like these two).
Sung by Arijit Singh, the song doesn't disappoint you at all. It's that kind of song which if repeatedly played, then you'll start liking it. Mein Chand Hoon Tu Tara - lyrics by Amitabh Battacharya just suits the bill as giving metaphors like a moon and star is an intelligent choice. Moon and a star - even if they are far way from each other can't really survive without one another.
For a music buff, the song does offer a buffet of instruments - from electronic guitar to piano. At the trailer launch, Kriti talked about Sushant's character Shiv and said "Shiv the character is cheesy, likes himself a lot. Sushant was behaving like that and when I asked about it, he said he was in his character. Probably this is one character that is like him as even after the film got over he was behaving like that. This character is like him."
Talking about her own character, Kriti said, “My character believes in that (reincarnation). When we meet someone we either get a good or bad vibe and that is maybe because there is some connection and I do believe in this.”
Apart from Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput, the film also stars Jim Sarbh in the lead role. Produced by Bhushan and directed by Dinesh Vijan, Raabta is all set to release on June 9, this year.
