Akshay Kumar shares his reaction on winning National Film Award for Best Actor.
Akshay Kumar is on cloud nine as he has won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his stellar act in Rustom. On hearing the news, Akshay shared a video of his reaction on Twitter.
He tweeted, "#NationalFilmAwards : Best Actor for Rustom,countless emotions,very hard to express my gratitude right now but still tried,a big THANK YOU."
In the video, Akshay said, "Thank you is a small world. But I don't know how else to express myself. I am truly humbled by this honour. I would like to thank National Award jury and all the fans from the core of my heart for believing in my talent. Rustom was a special role to play. Apne desh ke Navy ki uniform pehen paana apne aap main hi special baat hai. Aur is National Award ne usko aur bhi special bana diya hai. I would like to dedicate this award to the blessings of my parents and my lovely family, especially to my wife who always keeps telling me acha hua tumne award functions main jaana chhod diya kabhi kuch milta toh hai nahi. Khair... Der aaye durst aaye, kuch toh aaye."
He continued, "Ek aur baat ... While I am saying this, National Film Award winning actress Sonam Kapoor wo bhi mere saath shoot kar rhi hai. So it is a double celebration for us today. Thank you for your love and affection."
