Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut recent controversy on whether nepotism exists in Bollywood, refuses to die down. The entire debate started when Kangana appeared on Karan's show Koffee with Karan and called him a 'snooty flag bearer of nepotism'. What followed next is a public war of words.

The filmmaker, who stayed mum over Kangana's comments on the show, lashed out at her when he visited the London School of Economics. When he was asked about the statement, he said that may be Kangana doesn't know the meaning of nepotism. He also said that he is done with Kangana playing the victim card always.

Amidst this mud slinging, we came across an old video of Karan Johar, where he is admitting that nepotism exists in Bollywood. Karan had appeared on Anupama Chopra's show The Front Row with Deepika Padukone and Tisca Chopra back in 2014 and that is where the filmmaker spoke candidly about nepotism in Bollywood.

In the video, KJo says, "I picked up a chubby girl and I felt something. May be the fact that she was Mahesh Bhatt's daughter also excited me. I don't know. Right now I may say no, but may be that has been a very strong sub-layer. And that is nepotism and we are guilty and I am guilty. I am definitely guilty. Would I have cast Varun Dhawan if he wasn't David Dhawan's son? Because he was David Dhawan's son he was on my set as an AD and that's where I could spend enough time with him to know that he can be a movie star. So as I said, it has lot to do with the fact that there are too many factors in this country that determine movie stardom and I think true talent is the least of them. It is very sad and truly tragic. Would I have been a filmmaker? I am a producer's son. I had no experience, I was an assistant on one film, my father had the platform to give me and therefore I am a filmmaker. If I go through any struggle in my career then I deserve it."

Guess, Kangana Ranaut is surely going to have a last laugh on this!
