Here's the trailer of Dhanush's directorial debut Power Paandi
The trailer of Dhanush's directorial debut Power Paandi is out. The movie stars Raj Kiran in the titular role and he has impressed thoroughly in the video.
In the trailer, we can see the journey of Power Paandi, who is old and an emotional person who is criticised by his children every now and then. But with age, he finds companionship with his friends and enjoys hanging out with them. He plays the role of a stuntman, whose grandchildren love him unconditionally and they have a great camaraderie to watch out for.
He also has a love interest played by Revathy and it is shown how he is shown fighting against the societal norms of romance between ageing people.
The movie is also produced by Dhanush under his home banner Wunderbar Films. The other supporting cast including Prasanna and Chaya Singh are amazing in the trailer.
In the end of the trailer, we can see Dhanush showing off his charm and smirk. This might indicate that Dhanush might play the younger version of Power Paandi.

The movie has several cameos namely filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, actor Madonna Sebastian and TV host Dhivyadharshini. The film is set to hit the screens on April 14, 2017.
Apart from Power Paandi, Dhanush recently wrapped the shoot of Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (VIP 2) alongside Kajol. She will be making her comeback in the Tamil industry with this film which is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth.
