The trailer of Sonakshi Sinha's upcoming film Noor is out. In the film, the actor plays the titular role and is a journalist by profession.

In the trailer released, Sona is shown as a clumsy girl, who parties hard with friends but has a bad hangover the next day. She also has weight issues which make her sulk every now and then. She wants to get into hard journalism but her boss asks her to cover a Sunny Leone story, which disappoints her. Later on, her life changes and she gets an interesting story to work on which eventually unfolds a lot of shocking details on Mumbai city.

Towards the end of the trailer Sonakshi says, "Mumbai, You're killing me!"

The trailer even has the recreated version of the retro hit Gulaabi Aankhen, where Sona is seen grooving to it like a boss!

Interesting much?

The supporting cast of the film includes Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar, Purab Kohli, who do make the trailer an interesting watch!

Noor is an adaptation of a Pakistani novel titled Karachi, You're Killing Me! by Saba Imtiaz. This is Sonakshi's first role as a journalist and she does look like a perfect urban girl in the film. Her dressing style definitely makes this movie a fashionable one too.

Noor is directed by Sunhil Sippy and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra. It is set to hit the screens on April 21, 2017.

Check out the interesting trailer and tell us about it in the comments.
