Watch: Rajinikanth's fans in France indulge in fireworks; excited about the re-release of Baasha

Rajinikanth rules the hearts of his many fans across the world. Well, those who have seen how fans worship him as the Thalaivar might have an idea about how popular Rajinikanth is and just before his films, fans go crazy. He is known for his simplicity, generosity and charity in his personal life. He is a big phenomenon. 

His movies are box office hits not only in the South Indian market but also across the world. We came across a video of fans in France celebrating the re-release of his cult film, Baasha. In the video, a standee of Rajini is there and fans are putting milk and flowers on it. You can also see the fans bursting crackers. 

Rajini was last seen in the all-time blockbuster Kabali. The craze was such that fans wanted to catch the first screening of Kabali. Many fans have garlanded posters and banners carrying their matinee idol photo and it was a visual treat to see Rajini's popularity. For his fans, the release of a Rajini film is no less than a festival and it was quite evident at the time of Kabali's release. Interestingly, Kabali is the third highest grossing film of 2016 after Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Sultan and Aamir Khan's latest release Dangal.

Rajinikanth will also be seen in 2017's highly anticipated 2.0. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and Sudhanshu Pandey.
