Cheap Thrills! Mahira does what she couldn't do with SRK in Raees

Mahira Khan impressed everyone in her Bollywood debut Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Though the Pakistani beauty couldn't promote the movie in the country, she did not leave any stone unturned as she actively promoted the film on her social media pages.

Recently, she connected with the Indian media post the release of the film. During the interaction, the talented actor stated, "I might be the only one whom Shah Rukh didn't spread his arms for!" She even added, "When I reached Mumbai airport, I thought SRK will come running towards me. But it did not happen."

Today, she relived her Bollywood moment by sharing a video on her Instagram page. In the video, Mahira is seen standing in the middle of 'Sarson Ke Khet' and twirling in a salwar kameez. She is looking chirpy and happy while enjoying this moment.

About Raees, there have been several controversies making the round during the release of the film. The movie had a successful run in the country but it wasn't released in Pakistan. Post the ban was lifted, three of the Bollywood films - Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Kaabil and Running Shaadi were released in Pakistan. Even Raees passed the censor certificate but did not get an NOC as they found some "objectionable" content in the film.

Raees went on to enter the 100 crore club in the country and people on social media couldn't stop raving about the film.
