Ranbir Kapoor arrived at the Stardust Awards last evening amid much fanfare. After obliging fans with a selfie, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star got a bit chatty with the media and opened up about the competition and his father Rishi winning an award this year.

The 34-year-old actor said, “Honestly I don’t think I deserve to win this year. There have been superior performances. You know Amit Ji hain, Salman Khan hain, Sushant hai, they all have done some wonderful performances this year and they are more deserving than me. But I am performing this year so I am very excited. Plus my father is winning an award, which means a lot to me for Kapoor & Sons so I am really looking forward to it.”

Shortly after this, Ranbir was joined in by parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor and the trio posed for a perfect family click.

Rishi who also looked pumped up was heard joking about their well-timed arrival and quipped,“We want to begin by clarifying that we don’t live together. It is a mere coincidence that we have arrived at the same time and are in front of you.”
