The year 2016 started off on a quite unsavory note for the tinsel ville as it bought in a bad luck for the couples in the industry. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's breakup made headlines and the gossip mongers were giving all kind of reasons for their split. Post their breakup, they'll be now seen in Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos.

Not just Ranbir and Katrina, there are many such ex-couples who have worked with each other, post their separation.

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan

First, on our list is Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor. They seemed to be going strong for quite some time, and most people were awaiting news of an engagement – but suddenly, the news broke that the couple had called it quits in 2007. There was no instant bond between the two, but the two struck a friendship once they began working together. Post the split, they worked with each other in films - Jab We Met (2007), Milenge Milenge (2010) and Udta Punjab (2016).

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's breakup was part of the major headlines this year. The gossip mongers were just churning out speculative stories regarding their split. Before their separation, the duo had signed Anurag Basu's film, Jagga Jasoos. The film was also in the news as the release date was postponed for a couple of times as both Katrina and Ranbir were busy with their other projects. And now, finally, the film will hit the screens in April 2017.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have proved that a couple can remain good friends even after they break up. They parted ways in the year 2009 when Ranbir was shooting for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Ranbir and Deepika have worked together in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Tamasha (2015) and post their breakup, they have maintained that they are friends. 

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif

Ever since, Katrina Kaif set foot in India and befriended Salman Khan, rumours of their love story started making headlines. Their movies also were the talking point and after some time, rumours about their breakup was all over the news as Katrina was linked with her co-star Ranbir. Later, this was confirmed when Salman announced to the world that he was single. For a while, both of them were not on talking terms and then, they went on to work together in Ek Tha Tiger  (2012) and will also be seen in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017).

Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma

Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma reportedly dated each other when they were shooting for Band Baaja Baaraat. They broke up in the year 2012. But, the two never had hard feelings for each other. Anushka describes that her relationship with Ranveer is special and she will always treasure it. There were seen in 2015 film, Dil Dhadakne Do and their chemistry was appreciated by the viewers. 

Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor

Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor were rumoured to be dating each other when they were shooting for the 2013 film, Aashiqui 2. But, they never admitted that they were in a relationship. Now, they will be seen in OK Jaanu, which is an official remake of Mani Ratnam's superhit Tamil movie O Kadhal Kanmani.
