Watch: Daddy's teaser starring Arjun Rampal as Arun Gawli is gritty and impressive!
This might turn out to be one of the most poignant roles of Arjun Rampal's career - portraying Arun Gawli in the film Daddy.
The film is a biopic based on the life of gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli. He was referred to as 'Daddy' because he was considered the Robin Hood of his chawl. Gawli was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2012 as he was proved guilty of murdering a Shiv Sena leader.
Today, the teaser of the film is out and you have to give it to Arjun as he bears an uncanny resemblance to the gangster in this gritty trailer. Personifying Gawli's look and body language against the backdrop of blazing guns and bloodshed, the teaser gets you hooked instantly. Especially, the look in Arjun's eyes speak volumes!
