Song Alert: Aamir gets into the #HaanikaarakBapu mode with his Dangal daughters!
Aamir Khan's Dangal is highly-anticipated by the audience. The film is based on the real-life of wrestlers Babita and Geeta, the Commonwealth medal winners and their father Mahavir Phogat's journey to train his daughters to the prestigious titles.
Ahead of Children's Day, Aamir today released the first song of Dangal, titled #HaanikaarakBapu. The song depicts the journey of Mahavir and his two young daughters, Babita and Geeta (played by Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar), and how he trains the two, without any prejudices of them being young girls! From early morning warm-ups to the toughest exercises and monitoring a strict routine; Aamir as a #HaanikaarakBapu indeed justifies the title. The song is from the kids perspective and the lyrics are totally apt considering the situations showed. Towards the end, Aamir will be seen directing his girls to the akhada finally, where they will kickstart their journey to glory, in years to come!
While the music is by Pritam and lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Sarwar Khan and Sartaz Khan Barna have lent the vocals to track.
