Sonam roots for Madam President, urges Americans to vote for the right candidate!
With a bunch of Bollywood celebs like Salman and Rishi among others voicing their opinion on the much-anticipated US Presidential elections, here is Sonam rooting for Democratic forerunner Hillary Clinton.
The 31-year-old actress today took to Facebook to post a video of herself expressing her views on the much talked about US elections and captioned it as “Such an honour to be given the opportunity to share my views on the U.S. 2016 elections...check out the full video of my speech on my app! #hillaryrodhamclinton #HillaryforPresident #MadamPresident.”
While the actress has a complete clip of herself talking about the elections on her app, in this excerpt she can be heard as saying, “This is my take on this election… Most people in America often forget how much their political system affects the lives of people all over the world. The result of your election, affect the lives of people everywhere, including India. Maybe ours affect yours as well that is why it is very very important for you guys to vote and more importantly vote for the right candidate.”
On the work front, Sonam will be next seen in sister Rhea’s Veere Di Wedding along with Kareena Kapoor Khan.
