"Arey sharam karo, first think about the families of the martyrs," Akshay’s patriotic call is going viral!
Amid the debate about banning Pakistani artistes in the country and asking the government for proofs of the surgical strike, here we have Akshay giving us a big lesson on humanity.
With the country talking war, the 49-year-old actor today took to Twitter to give out a powerful message and slammed the celebs for discussing the ban instead of being concerned with the martyrs and army men.
The Airlift star began by saying, “I am not speaking to you as a celebrity today. I am speaking to you as the son of an army man.”
He further asserted, “ Arey sharam karo (have shame)” and went ahead to say that banning the actors will give no consolation to the families of the martyrs.
Akshay made it clear that our primary concern should be the welfare of those families, who have lost a bread-earning member.
He concluded by saying, “I am, because they are. You are, because they are and if they are not there, then India won't exist. Jai Hind."
Well said Akshay!
