Oops! Ameesha Patel makes a sly dig at Pooja Hegde in this video, feels sorry for Mohenjo Daro's debacle
Model Pooja Hegde made her debut in Ashutosh Gowariker's magnum opus Mohenjo Daro, which tanked at the box-office. But look like Ameesha Patel is busy feeling sorry for the film's debacle and most importantly, Pooja.
We got our hands on this video where Ms Patel is making sly digs at the newcomer ( Ms Hegde) and even compared Mohenjo Daro with Kaho Na Pyar Hai!!
*Rolling eyes*
Ameesha quoted to the media present there:
"Of course main chahti hoon ki Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai 2 jis din bane, par usse zyaada audiences chhahte hai ki woh bane. Agar app kabhi mere social media par jayo toh log request karte hai, Hrithik aur mujhe, Flimkraft movies ki please come back together for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai 2. Aur is waqt Mohenjo Daro ke promotions ke liye bhi, agar aapne judhe kiya hoga toh Pooja Hegde ka Dubsmash Kaho Na Pyaar Hai ke gaane pe tha, aur Hrithik ne har jagah KHPH ke hi promotions kiye. I’m sorry the Mohenjo Daro didn’t do that well but har film aise kaamyabi nahi paa sakti, with a newcomer. Kaho Na Pyaar Hai 2 banegi toh bumper opening hi milegi."
When Ameesha was asked about KHPH sequel, that if she would star in the film, she replied, "Jaise Gadar adhuri hai mere bina, waise hi Kaho Na Pyaar Hai adhuri hai mere bina. Yeh toh bewakooifi wala sawal hai."
Translation of Ameesha’s statement:
"Of course, I’d want a sequel of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai but more than anything, audiences want a sequel to the film. Fans have been requesting me on social media that Hrithik and I should come back together for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai 2. In fact, even during the promotions of Mohenjo Daro, Pooja Hegde did a Dubsmash on a song from the film and Hrithik has been promoting it (KHPH) everywhere. I’m sorry that Mohenjo Daro didn’t do that well, but not every film with a newcomer can achieve the kind of success Kaho Na Pyaar Hai did. If there is a sequel, it will surely have a bumper opening. Like how Gadar is incomplete without me, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai is also incomplete without me. You are asking a stupid question(one being asked if Ameesha would star in KHPH sequel)!!"
