Here's How Abhishek Tactfully Dodged a 'Below The Belt' Question
During the recently held Housefull 3 success press conference, Abhishek Bachchan was asked whether he would be playing the solo male lead in any of his upcoming films. Moreover, the person asking the question even stressed that in the past he has starred in quite a few successful solo-hero films like Guru.
Replying to this hard-hitting query, the actor said that for him every role—regardless of the length—was equally important for him. Furthermore, he clarified that even in Guru he worked alongside some talented co-actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Aishwarya Rai and Madhavan.
“I believe anybody-no matter how big or small his role-- is equally responsible for the film and in its success or failure. I do not like to differentiate based on the size of the role. We are here for Housefull 3. It is a wonderful franchise. And the most popular character of the franchise is Chunky(Pandey) who shot for three days. Aakhri Pasta is the character that has the most recall value. So the length should not matter” he added.
On a related note, Housefull 3 also features Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead.
