Amma Kanakku Trailer: Amala's Latest Promises to be a Compelling Drama About Women's Education
There can be no denying that during her short but eventful stint in the Southern film fraternity, the soft highly-gifted Amala Paul has carved a niche for herself thanks to her charming screen presence, graceful personality, good looks and of course sincere performances.
Furthermore, she has won quite a few fans because of her soft-spoken demeanor and friendly attitude. Now, the actress is back in the news again. As it so happens, the trailer of her film Amma Kanakku has been released. And well, it is quite effective.
In it, Amala is seen in a de-glam and simple look. Apparently she is playing the role of a woman from a financially weak background in this one. Based on the trailer, it be said that Amma Kanakku revolves around the importance of women’s education. Produced by Dhanush, it also features veteran Revathy in the lead. Interestingly, it is a remake of the Hindi film Nil Battey Sannata which featured Swara Bhaskar in the lead. Like the original, this remake too has been directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
