Watch: Neha Bhasin Brings to Life the Punjabi Folk Number Nai Jaana
If you are a fan of rustic and soul stirring music then we have some great news in store for you. The talented Neha Bhasin recently released her latest and seventh folk single. Titled Nai Jaana, it is a minimal rendition of a popular Punjabi folk number of the same name.
The folk number is traditionally sung at weddings. It highlights the bride’s reluctance to leave her parents post marriage. As far as Neha’s rendition is concerned, it remains true to the original version and does a good job of bringing out the melancholy associated with it.
On a related note, Neha has over the past few years established herself as a synonym for success courtesy her impressive body of work. A former member of VIVA, the singer has sung for Gunday, Pyaar Impossible, Force, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Moreover, her voice will also be heard in Aankhen 2 and the eagerly-awaited Sultan.
