Veerappan Trailer: RGV's Latest Promises to be a Violent and Intense Thriller
The official trailer of Ram Gopal Varma’s latest Hindi film Veerappan has finally been released. And to say the very least, it has created quite a buzz in the industry courtesy its intensity and unconventional presentation.
Moreover, it has also grabbed plenty of attention due to its violent nature. Based on real-life events, Veerappan highlights how the titular character claimed countless lives before being killed as a result of the efforts of a brave officer.
Touted as a thriller, it features Sandeep Bhardwaj, Sachiin Joshi and Lisa Ray in the lead. Interestingly, the Kannada version of the film was released a few months back. Titled Killing Veerappan, it had fared well at the box office. As it so happens, Sandeep had played the titular character in the original version as well.
It will be worth watching if Veerappan is able to live up to the high standards set by the Kannada version. If all goes as planned, the film will hit screens this May.
