Check Out! Anushka Confirms Going the 'Phillauri' Way This Baisakhi
The much-loved Anushka Sharma recently wished her fans a happy Baisaiki and stated that she has finally kick started the shoot of her latest production venture Phillauri. Moreover, the star stated that she was praying and hoping for the film’s success. Interestingly, this is the second film to be produced by her house. She had previously produced the hard-hitting NH 10.
As far as Phillauri is concerned, it is touted to be a fun-filled romantic film which touches upon a Punjabi marriage. Directed by Anshai Lal, it features Anushka, Suraj Sharma and Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh in the lead. As the theme suggests, the film will be set in Punjab
Interestingly, NH 10 had fared pretty well at the box office. As such, it will be worth watching whether Phillauri too proves to be lucky for the star. On a related note, Anushka will also be seen in Sultan. Expected to hit screens this Eid, it stars Salman Khan in the titular role.
