AR Rahman’s critically acclaimed soundtrack was undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights of the 1992 release Bombay. Originally composed in Tamil, it was later on dubbed in Hindi and enjoyed tremendous success. While all the numbers became popular, it was the lively Hamma Hamma which become an instant hit amongst all age groups courtesy its lively beats.

And now, nearly 24 years after the song was first released, singer Anara Nandy has re-created it in the most unconventional and amazing way possible. As it so happens, the singer along with a friend recently recreated the musical arrangement of Hamma Hamma using nothing but some glasses. And to put it mildly the efforts have paid off in a big way. Their version does indeed pack quite a punch. Now that’s what we call mesmerizing. Right Folks/

On a related note, Antara recently created a buzz when she released a cover version of the popular number Bolna.
