It seems that there is some really good news in store for fans of entertaining yet intelligent films. Imtiaz Ali's short film India Tomorrow has just been released. And to say the very least it carries a strong message and compels us to change our perspective. The nearly five minute-long clip highlights how a sex worker ends up offering sound financial and banking advice to a person from the “affluent” section of society. In doing so, the film very clearly and cleverly tells us that we should never be judgmental. Talk about talking a firm stand. Way to go Imtiaz!

Interestingly, during his nearly 11-year-long association with Bollywood has made quite a name for himself thanks to his unique brand of storytelling. And this short film illustrates this aspect quite well.

On the Bollywood front, Imtiaz’s last directorial venture Tamasha had hit screens last year. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead, it opened to a mixed response at the box office.
