Pratyusha Banerjee's mom Soma Banerjee Breaks Down Over the Phone
Popular TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who rose to fame with her portrayal of Anandi in Balika Vadhu, committed suicide at her home in Mumbai today. The actress was declared dead when she was brought into the Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri. The entire TV and film industry is shocked and is pouring in condolences to the Banerjee family.
Pratyusha's parents are on their way to Mumbai, after listening to the devastating news. One can only imagine what Pratyusha's mom Soma Banerjee is going through at this moment. When Pratyusha's colleague Dolly Bindra called her mom, Mrs Banerjee broke down and mentioned between sobs that Pratyusha is in the hospital and that they are on their way there.
It is truly heart-breaking to hear a mother's desperate cry. Many condolences to the family and we pray that they somehow get the strength to cope with this extremely difficult situation.
