Kali Trailer : Say Hello to Malayalam Cinema's Newest Angry Young Man Dulquer
If you are a fan of Malayalam cinema then there is some really big news in store for you. In an exciting development, the official trailer of Dulquer Salmaan’s much-hyped Kali has finally been unveiled. In it, the 29-year-old star is in an all new “angry young man” avatar.
We must say that this avatar is a huge departure from his lover boy look in Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani. Talk about a transformation! Moeover, judging by the intense trailer, Kali revolves around the exploits of a short-tempered young man. Besides, Dulquer, the film also features Sai Pallavi and Vinayakan in the lead.
Directed by Sameer Tahir and touted as a drama, Kali has primarily been shot in Kochi, Galadur and Vagamon. Interestingly, it marks the second collaboration between Dulquer and Sameer. They had previously joined hands for the road-thriller Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi which was released in 2013 and fared well at the box office.
